Based in the Midwest with offices in Plymouth Michigan and Clermont Florida, Amazing Pearl was founded by pearl enthusiasts, native to Shanghai, China, Jennifer Jishen Wang, and native to Michigan, David Dethloff. 

Jennifer was born and grew up in Shanghai, within 300 miles from most Chinese freshwater pearl farms. She went to undergraduate school in Guangdong province, where large akoya pearl farms are located, and obtained an advanced education in the US. Jennifer holds a Master of Science degree from New Jersey Institute of Technology, a Graduate Pearls diploma from the Gemological Institute of America, and a graduate certificate from NYIP in Photography.

David holds an engineering degree, a World Trade Certificate, and is a qualified member of International Traders.
